Terms & delivery
Last updated 8 September 2026
These terms apply when you order food from DASARA, 163 High Town Road, Luton, LU2 0BX — by phone, on WhatsApp, or through this website. Placing an order means you accept them.
Ordering
We take orders every day between 12:00 and 23:00. An order is not confirmed until our kitchen accepts it — you will see this on your tracking page, and we may call you if anything is unclear.
We may decline an order if a dish has sold out, if the delivery address is outside our area, or if we cannot reach you to confirm the details.
Prices on this website include VAT where applicable. We try hard to keep the menu accurate, but if a price is obviously wrong we will contact you before preparing the order rather than simply charging the higher amount.
Collection
Collection orders are picked up from 163 High Town Road, Luton, LU2 0BX. We will tell you when the food will be ready. Please bring your order code.
Delivery
| Delivery area | LU1, LU2, LU3 and LU4 postcodes |
|---|---|
| Minimum order | £15.00 before the delivery fee (delivery only — collection has no minimum) |
| Delivery fee | £2.50 |
| Hours | Every day, 12:00–23:00 |
If you live outside these postcodes you are very welcome to collect. We will always tell you the total, including any delivery fee, before we start cooking.
Please make sure someone can take the food at the address you give us. If a driver cannot reach you after arriving and trying to call, we may have to leave — in that case the order is treated as delivered and cannot be refunded.
The 30-minute delivery guarantee
The promise: if your delivery order arrives more than 30 minutes after our kitchen accepts it, you do not pay the delivery charge. You still pay for the food.
We would rather explain exactly how this works than bury it, so here it is in full.
When it applies
- The order is for delivery, not collection. We can control our kitchen and our driver; we cannot control your journey to us.
- The delivery address is inside our guarantee area: LU1, LU2, LU3 and LU4.
- The guarantee was active when we accepted your order (see "When we pause it" below).
Your order page and your tracking page both tell you clearly whether the guarantee applies to that specific order, before you pay. If it does not apply, we say so.
When the clock starts
The 30 minutes begins the moment our kitchen accepts your order — not when you press submit, and not when you first started building your basket. Acceptance is timestamped and shown on your tracking page along with a live countdown, so you can see exactly the same deadline we are working to.
If you ask us to deliver at a particular later time, the guarantee does not apply — you have told us when you want it, and that is the time we will aim for.
When we pause it
On an exceptionally busy night we may pause the guarantee. If we do, it stops applying to new orders only. Any order we have already accepted keeps its promise — we will never withdraw a guarantee after you have placed an order relying on it. A promise you can take back afterwards is not a promise.
What you get
The delivery charge is removed from the order — currently £2.50. The food is still charged as normal.
There is nothing to claim and no voucher to chase. The charge is removed automatically the moment the delivery is recorded as late, your tracking page shows it, and the total you are asked for is already reduced. If you paid by card before delivery, we refund the delivery charge to your card.
What it does not cover
- Collection orders.
- Deliveries outside LU1–LU4.
- Orders scheduled for a later time you chose.
- Delays caused by an address we cannot find, or nobody being there — if our driver arrives within 30 minutes but cannot hand the food over, the guarantee is met.
- The cost of the food itself, which is always payable.
- Events genuinely outside our control, such as severe weather, a road closure, or a power cut.
We also want to say this plainly: no meal is worth anyone getting hurt. Our drivers are told, in writing, that the 30 minutes is our problem and never theirs — they are not penalised for a late delivery and must not hurry on the road to protect it. If keeping the promise would mean driving badly, we would rather give you the food for free.
Payment
Unless we tell you otherwise, payment is taken on delivery or collection. Where card payment online is offered, it is processed by our payment provider — we never see or store your full card details.
Changes and cancellations
You can cancel free of charge while your order still shows as received, either on your tracking page or by calling us. Once the kitchen has accepted it we have usually started cooking, so please call 01582 967192 and we will do what we can.
If something is wrong
Please tell us the same day — call 01582 967192 or message 07344 878762. If we have made a mistake we will put it right, whether that is remaking the dish or refunding it. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Allergies
Please read our allergen information and speak to us before ordering if you have an allergy. Our kitchen handles all major allergens and we cannot guarantee any dish is free from traces.
Loyalty points
We may pause the points scheme from time to time; while it is paused no points are added, and any balance you already have is kept. When it is running, points are added once an order is delivered or collected, and they have no cash value. You still earn points on an order where we waived the delivery charge, because you still paid for the food. We may change the rewards on offer, but we will not take away points you have already earned without telling you.
